Lights are required by law for night riding in Boulder. We carry front and rear lights from Cateye. These range from inexpensive markers that let you be seen by others, to full on headlight systems that will allow you to see where you are headed. Monkey Lights and WheelbrightZ offer safety as well as character for your late night excursions. From slaying single track to looking good on the Boulder Cruiser Ride and Burning Man, we have you covered. Of course we offer lights in all price ranges, from $5 on up, the following are our favorites.
Lights in your wheels allow motorists and other night time creatures to see you from afar. They catch people’s eyes quickly and get the right kind of attention. For the cyclist that prefers a them, these offer a wide variety of colors and settings to choose from. For best results, place more than one in each wheel.
These simple LED lights last a long time on 3 AA batteries. Wrap your frame up for a different night time persona in a way that won’t make your bike look like it has been wrapped in masking tape during the day, like so many other LED lighting systems. The WheelBrightZ will create the illusion of a steady ring of light as your wheels spin.
